Development of sinter production, ironmaking and coking technologies aimed at optimization of upstream technological processes for increasing hot metal and coke output and reduction of the respective production costs, also due to achievement of SuperTBL levels. (technically based level)
Sintering, coking and ironmaking R&D teams are improving sintering, coking and ironmaking technologies, in order to achieve minimum operating costs and maximum production output levels.
Mastering and development of sintering charge and blast furnace burden preparation technologies, development of sintering technology using oxygen and natural gas supply into sintered layer makes one able to reduce the hot metal cost due to coke rate reduction and saving on pellets.
Development of the technology for recycling the sludges, containing iron and zinc will increase pig iron and zinc concentrate production output, reduce СО2 emission and increase ironmaking efficiency.
