Every decade of minerals extraction the civilisation faces more thorny issue of energy resources and the need of transition to alternative energy.
And the transition to alternative energy sources is becoming more and more acute for human civilization.
Among other things, a large amount of energy is spent on heating buildings in northern regions or cooling them in southern countries.
It is important to mention that the efficiency of solar panels does not exceed 30%. The rest of the energy is dissipated mainly in the form of heat. The project aims at creating a coating that can capture thermal energy and, if necessary, convert it into other types of energy, such as electricity.
To solve this problem, a comprehensive vision
is required, and the solution can have a scientific nature: by developing a single-layer coating with an active pigment, as well as a technical nature: by using several layers of different coatings with heat-insulating and heat-removing effects.
